起重机行走机构的惯性更大，这是和起升机构所不同的，这些都更易使设备发生一些故障，例如断轴、烧坏电机等，因此，对起重机行走机构的调速，更应该谨慎操作。目前其调速方式有以下4 种：

大致和起升机构调速方法相同。

（2）软起动、软制动

为了减少电冲击和机械冲击的情况发生，采取降压起动和电制动，进而达到控制起步和制动速度的效果，满足使用。

（3）实芯转子电机

为了实现软起动、软制动的目的，并减少电冲击和机械冲击的情况发生，我们可以借助转子实芯的涡流效应以及转子内的高频电流。一般情况下，只要选择得当的电机功率，该操作方案是很有效的。

变频调速在葫芦起重机行走机构中的优点，除具有在起升机构中表现出的优点外，尚有以下几个方面：

a.行走电机的容量被减小

应用变频器有很多好处，电机的起动电流被大大的降低了，除此之外，高调速比又大大减小了其机械冲击，从而降低了过多的点动次数。因此，可以在现有的基础上降低一两挡选用。

In addition, the high speed ratio greatly reduces the mechanical impact of the motor, thus reducing the excessive number of points. Therefore, the selection of one or two gears can be reduced on the basis of existing ones.

极高的性价比主要是行走机构的电机功率较小，相应的变频器功率也小。表现为其价格相对低廉以及较高的调速和运行质量。

C. Maintenance-free
变频调速、降频制动和电机内部的直流电制动，大大改善了运行机构的起制动性能，对减速器齿轮起到了预紧作用，降低了齿间间隙引起的冲击，减少了电气故障和机械故障，节约了后期的维修成本。
Frequency conversion speed regulation, frequency reduction braking and DC electric braking inside the motor greatly improve the starting braking performance of the operating mechanism, play a pre-tightening role on the reducer gears, reduce the impact caused by inter-tooth clearance, reduce electrical and mechanical faults, and save later maintenance costs.
