钢丝绳手扳葫芦是一种结构简单、利用扳动手柄完成的重物的提升、下降、牵引、校准等作业的起重工具。钢丝绳手扳葫芦不但可以做非直线性牵引作业，而且可以很方便伐选择合适的操作位置，机动性强，且牵引的距离校长，使用方便。

1、必须根据负载的大小选用适当吨位的葫芦

2、使用前必须检查壳体诸紧固螺钉是否已拧紧，不得有松动；扳动诸手柄检查动作是否正常；若运行协调，无异常响声或卡滞，则可扳动松卸手柄，穿入已擦拭干净的配套钢丝绳，并夹紧钢丝绳，再扳动前进或倒退手本柄，视其动作是否正常。

3、用规定型号、规格的钢丝绳把葫芦牢靠的固定。

4、操作中，不允许用配套以外的其他绳具代替钢丝绳；运行中，应保持钢丝绳的清洁，防止粘附的泥浆及油污进入机内，影响正常使用或加剧夹钳的磨损。

5、使用中无须加润滑油。
